An event was held regarding the 5-year activity of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 28, 2017.

The event began with the singing of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a minute's silence in memory of our martyrs who died for our territorial integrity.

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration Shahmar Movsumov, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA Orkhan Mammadov spoke at the opening part of the event.

At the event, the "Dayaq" award, which has a symbolic meaning and is an indicator of the state's constant support and support for entrepreneurs, was presented to Natural Agro LLC, included in Azersheker LLC, under the nomination "Successful Farmer". The award was presented by Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov to Anar Mehdiyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azersheker LLC.

It should be noted that the award was presented to entrepreneurs for the first time this year. The purpose of establishing the award is to stimulate companies that stand out for their activities throughout the year, apply innovative and modern approaches in the field of business, and produce export-oriented products and services.
