New technologies for protecting land and resources that adapt to climate change will be demonstrated in Yevlakh.
Share On April 27, in Yevlakh, as part of the “Green World Solidarity Year” a republican meeting will be held on the topic “Demonstration of new technologies for protecting land and resources that adapt to climate change.” The event will be held jointly by the Ministry of Agriculture, Azersheker LLC and Gilan Pivot LLC, and also in partnership with the Economic Zones Development Agency and Carlsberg Azerbaijan.
The main goal of the meeting is to reduce the negative impact of global warming occurring recently in the world on agriculture by widely using in the country moisture-protective technologies and innovations that adapt to climate change in the country, protecting the environment, increasing the knowledge and skills of farmers working in regions affected by from drought, as well as the exchange of experience gained in this area by large farms.
The meeting will demonstrate innovative technologies, modern irrigation systems, organic fertilizers and biological products used in agriculture, and will also provide answers to questions of interest to the meeting participants.
The republican meeting is expected to be attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and relevant government agencies, large farms and agricultural parks, representatives of supplier companies and farmers.
