The head of the Executive Power of Shamkir region Rashad Tagiyev got acquainted with the conditions and activities of the farm of “Azersheker” LLC in Jeyranchol.

Anar Orujlu, head of the Shamkir farm of “Azersheker” LLC, told the chief executive that 6.1 km of power lines have been laid, 16,000 kW substations have been built, 40 kW and 3 1,000 kW transformers have been installed. At the same time, a 15.3 km long water line was laid, and 65, 250 and 500 thousand cubic meters of water reservoirs were built, respectively. A pivot has been installed on 671 hectares at the farm, which is part of “Azersheker” LLC.

Anar Orujlu noted that in 2021, farms harvested 856.8 tons of wheat from 153 hectares, 1687.2 tons of barley from 356 hectares and 99.21 tons of soybeans from 62.65 hectares. At the same time, 459.38 tons of corn and 18202.1 tons of beets were harvested from 51.35 hectares and 201.7 hectares, respectively.

The Farm manager was informed that wheat was planted on 130.6 hectares and barley on 165.7 hectares by 2022: “Our laboratory specialists monitored the planted areas. The monitoring was carried out to detect potentially dangerous diseases in wheat and barley, which are currently under development. In some of our fields, the grain is still in the germination stage, and in some of our fields, the budding stage has already begun. It should be noted that the latest technology applied in the previous planting season, thanks to the new approach, high productivity has been achieved. Thus, the average yield in barley fields was 6 tons, and in wheat fields - 5.6 tons.
