Monitoring was carried out in the autumn crops on our farms

Specialists of our laboratory monitored the farms of Shamkir and Yevlakh. The monitoring was carried out to detect potentially dangerous diseases in autumn wheat and barley at the current stage of development. In some of our fields, the grain is still in the germination stage, and in some of our fields, the budding stage has already begun. Phosphorus deficiency was observed in a small part of our fields due to cold weather conditions. The leaves have a reddish-purple color characteristic of phosphorus deficiency. In addition, Fusarium root rot, one of the main problems of this development period, has not been identified. Grain seedlings infected with this disease sometimes die without reaching the soil surface. In the first and second degree roots of diseased seedlings, darkening is observed in the rhizome, the leaves turn yellow, the stem is thinned and lags behind in development. Such plants perish quickly because they spend the winter badly.
