On January 27-30, in Shamkir farm of Azersheker LLC, machinery was inspected together with French specialist Phillip Tebaay. The purpose of the visit is to study the possibility of installing RTK system in machinery used in agricultural works in connection with the application of precision farming system in the area. RTK (Real-time kinematic) system is an integral part of the precision farming system, and experience shows that with the application of this system it is possible to carry out earthworks (soil processing, sowing, cultivation, etc.) in the fields with a precision of 2-5 cm. The application of this system is very important, especially for plants cultivated between row spaces (sugar beet, soybean, corn, etc.). Application of RTK allows to save fuel, plant protection agents fertilizers, minimizes the human factor in the work carried out. When using precision farming systems, the profitability of works in the application of agricultural works increases by an average of 10-25%. RTK allows to reduce the overlap of works with the human factor and make more optimal use of the technology. In addition, our employees informed the French specialist about the current state of the area where RTK will be installed, the planned agricultural activities in the area and the machinery used by the company.
